Moving Average Adaptive

Moving Average Adaptive changes its sensitivity to price fluctuations. The Moving Average Adaptive becomes more sensitive during periods when price is moving in a certain direction and becomes less sensitive to price movement when price is volatile.

Parameters

• Periods - Specify the number of periods to use when calculating. The term "time periods" refers to days if the chart contains daily data, weeks for weekly data, hours for hourly data, etc.
• Vty Length - Specify here the value of Vty. length parameter. Number of bars used to calculate the volatility.
• Vty Mult - Specify here the value of Vty. multiplied parameter. Multiplier used to determine the weighted length of the slow and fast moving averages.
• Vty HiLo - Specify here the value of Vty. HiLo parameter. Number of trailing bars to examine for highest and lowest volatility.
• Fast Color - Indicator uses one output line that could change its own color and width according to the situation. You can specify here the color of "fast" areas on the output line.
• Slow Color - Similarly to the above parameter, you can specify here the color of "slow" areas on the output line.
